At ederma, we are interested in light in all its shapes and sizes, starting with our UVB Phototherapy equipment and our Full Spectrum Light Therapy devices and reaching beyond into the fascinating science of light and the technologies that use light sources, we are always on the lookout for new technological advances and discoveries.
Light plays a vital role in our daily lives and is an imperative cross-cutting discipline of science in the 21st century. It has revolutionized medicine, opened up international communication via the internet and continues to be central to linking cultural, economic and political aspects of the global society. A little known fact: The United Nations proclaimed 2015 as the International Year of Light and Light-based Technologies (IYL 2015). IYL 2015 programs promote improved public and political understanding of the central role of light in the modern world while also celebrating noteworthy anniversaries in 2015 on a global scale. On a more local note, especially dear to us due to its proximity to our headquarters, we will be attending a special kind of light therapy: 
the Festival of Light held from 4 to 14 July in Cuneo, known as Illuminata, a great event celebrating two milestones at once: the inauguration of Cuneo’s main pedestrian street, Via Roma and the celebration of Madonna del Carmine, with a unique lightshow to be held twice each evening for ten days, starting July 4.
